WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH A SEPARATE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION? ARE YOU HAVING TWO WEDDINGS?

Kind of! It was important for us to have a ceremony on Maui since it’s where we fell in love, but we know Hawaii is very far away and travel can tough (fun fact: Hawaii is actually the most isolated population on Earth, by miles from other land mass!).

Having a smaller ceremony in Hawaii and a bigger reception party on the mainland (Chicago) gave us the best of both worlds, and hopefully gives everyone in our community - both near and far - an opportunity to come celebrate with us.

are kids allowed?
